About Johnathan Hopp

1975 - born in Rehovot, Israel
1979-1985 - spends much time creating interesting compositions out
     of Lego blocks
1986 - discovers computer gaming
1990 - receives his first reflex camera as a gift. Is thrilled.
1991 - goes into an art major in high school
1994-1997 - spends three years of mandatory service as a tank driver
     in the IDF
1997-2001 - four great years in the industrial design department at
     the Rhode Island School of Design
2002 - establishes 'Stella' design studio with fellow RISD graduate,
     and good friend, Sarah Auslander
2006 - establishes 'Typical Local' workshop
2007 - begins teaching at the Holon Institute of Technology
2008 - enrolls in the Interdisciplinary Arts program at
     the Tel Aviv University for a graduate degree
